Torsten is one month old!!!

Wow, time is flying by and I want it to slow down! My baby is a month old already, I can't believe it. He really is a good baby and I am loving being a mommy to these two amazing boys. Stone is still crazy about his brother too. I thought that the interest in him would die down, but still going strong a month later. He is really a mama's boy, which is totally new territory for me. Stone would let anyone comfort him, we never had stranger anxiety or anything. Not Torsten, he can be fussing, give him to Mommy and he will be calmed down (if not asleep) in minutes.

Eating: He is now finishing 6 ounce bottles occasionally. I usually try to fill him up on his last bottle of the evening which is around 8 or 9. The rest of the time, he is downing 4 ounces and only lasting 2 1/2 hours until the next feeding. I think when I finish out these 4 ounce bottle liners, I will just stop using the little bottles.

Sleeping: Still waking up once a night, ugh! Usually he goes to bed around 8:00, wakes up at 2:30-3:00 and then back down until morning. The problem we have had occasionally, is when he falls asleep earlier than 8 and when he wakes at 2:30 or 3:00, he thinks he is up for the day. He does not understand that Mommy is not ready to be up for the day at that time! I joke that he is not as good of a sleeper as his brother, because he slept all night on his one month birthday. Hey, a mommy can hope, right? I know I should not complain, but really that interruption in sleep can be really draining on mommy.

Activity: I have noticed the past couple of days that he is really becoming more awake/alert alot more through out the day. He just looks around with this confused look on his face. He loves loves loves his swing, more than I can even describe with words. We have already went through a set of batteries in a months time. If Torsten is fussing and nothing can calm him down (including mommy) then that means he is wanting swing time. Put him in there and he is happy as can be! Oh and do not dare take him out before he is ready or watch out!
