Visiting Uncle B's practice track

Too say Stone is obsessed with motorcycles is quite the understatement. This boy eats, sleeps, and breathes motorcycles. Every night, Stone goes to bed telling us he is racing tomorrow and going to fall down in the dirt. So tonight we took a ride out to Uncle Ron's house and watched Uncle B and his buddies play on the practice track for a while.

John Deere Boy

Daddy brought home the big tractor that is usually kept out at the property this weekend. Stone was in HEAVEN, to say the least! He helped clean it, took it on "rides" and then would drive his little John Deere around it. As fast as he is growing, he will be driving that thing before we know it.

Fall fun, a trip to the apple orchard

Stone and I took Gaga and Aunt Sandi to Tanner's orchard. We had never been and it was really a cute place. They had a huge selection of apples, pumpkins, mums, baked goods, and a childrens area. Stone loved feeding the goats and at the end he got to take a carriage ride on a great big horse. Let's just say it was not a pretty site when the ride was over. Aunt Sandi wanted to give in and let him ride it again, but Mommy had to put her foot down.

He knows how to play into these Grandma's hands, crying all sad and saying "but I waited my turn, I waited my turn." They melted and he played it up. But honestly, you could really tell he was truly heartbroken. Mommy made it better when we made a stop by Old Navy and picked up a monkey costume so he can be "Monkey George" for Halloween.

The zoo

Gaga, Papa, Stone, and I went to the zoo this afternoon. Stone says his favorites were the monkeys, goats, and feeding the ducks. Since Stone did not have a nap yet, he was a little clumsy and tripped over his own 2 feet a couple of times. Did not stop him though, he still did not want to leave, even though the zoo was closing.

Circus is in town!!!

Not much happens in this little town, so when something does come, we have to attend. So mommy, daddy, Stone, gaga, and papa all got tickets and headed to the circus. It was a one ring circus, but Stone loved it. He was a little disappointed that he did not get to ride a tiger though, where he got that idea is beyond me. After the stitches incident, I will admit Stone wanted for nothing. He got a scooby doo balloon, some streamer wand, cotton candy, and a sno-cone.

Our 1st ER visit!

This came way earlier than I was expecting. 8:30 at night Stone was walking in the living room and tripped over his own feet and went head first into the coffee table. As soon as he popped up Mike knew we were heading for the hospital. Mommy started crying instantly, which then lead to a few tears from Stone. By the time we were in the car he stopped crying and really did not cry again until they were stitching him up at 1:00 am. I don't know if it was as much the pain as it was just wanting to go home and sleep in his own bed. 3 stitches and 5 hours later we were home and fast asleep in our own bed.
