Hands and Fingers must taste good!

Because Stone has his in his mouth at ALL TIMES! If he is watching a video, the hands are in his mouth. If he is playing with his bus, the hands are in his mouth. Poor little guy just cannot get past this teething stage!

Watching the Coffee

Stone loves to help daddy make coffee. He pushes the grinder button to grind the beans, he closes the vacuum canister, and he closes the lid to start the water flow. Then he has to lay on the counter and watch the coffee come out. Such an exciting time of the day for an almost 2 year old!

Stone's Valentines Date

Stone had his first Valentine's date this year. While we were down in Baton Rouge, we met up with some friends. Stone and EK hit it off immediately, but unfortunately there were bigger kids in the play area that limited their playing. After playing we went and had m&m cookies. It was too cute seeing these two walk through the mall holding hands, until Stone decided to run off!

Steamboat Natchez

This was a very cool 2 hour river cruise. I am so glad we decided to do this. Stone was in awe for the first hour and half, then he conked out on Daddy. If you are ever down in New Orleans, make this a must do activity!

The Aquarium of Americas

It did get a little rainy, so we went inside to the aquarium until it passed. We had high expectations when we found out how much it cost to get in! Stone loved it more than we even expected. He got to touch a stingray and a shark. Plus they had a fun play area and he got to "ride" shamu mu (as stone calls him).

Cafe du Monde and River Walk

Let me tell you, Cafe du Monde has the best beignets. Stone would agree without a doubt. The riverwalk is cool too, there are so many boats to look at.

New Orleans

So we are back from our fun vacation. We did so many things, and ate so many places. Very cool place to visit! Great weather too, really made us all ready for spring! So we ate at the cafe du monde, and had po' boys at Mother's, went on a river cruise on the Steamboat Natchez, and visited the Aquarium of Americas, all this in addition to taking in the French Quarter. Oh and did I mention it was Mardi Gras? We definitely kept busy! I will divide the posts by pictures, just to make it easier to know what is taken where.

First is just hotel pictures. Our little climber loved to climb up on the window sill and look out on the city.

Mr. GQ

Stone has to do exactly what Mommy is doing in the morning. If I am doing my hair, so is Stone, if I am brushing my teeth, so is Stone, if I am sleeping in so is Stone :)

It was just too cute this morning not to get a picture!

Something to make our trip a little more bearable!

We know that this 11 hour drive is going to be pushing it with Stone. So when we were buying our camera, we went ahead and got one of those portable dvd players for Stone. It is fabulous, for the house even! Now Stone does not have to watch Barney or Elmo on the big screen all the time!

Daddy, let me drive!!!

Mike was letting Stone play in the truck (without the keys) while he took the carseat out. As fast as he is growing, I know this time will come soon enough.

Cereal....for dinner?

Stone has taken a liking to ceral (yes that is how he pronounces it). So with teething, meal time can be challenging. Last night he informed me that he wanted ceral for dinner. He plays with it in the milk (Soy Milk) until it is soggy and then eats it up.

I have a phone talker!

Stone LOVES to talk on the phone. He has even figured out more about Mommy's Iphone than mommy has. He knows how to unlock it, and dial Ga Ga or daddy. Gaga has even had random messages on her work voicemail and received calls while eating dinner.

I WANT CHEESE

Well, I have been playing with my camera and loving it! Stone loves it as well, he comes up to me and says "I want Cheese mommy and smiles." Most would think he actually wants to eat cheese, but nope, he is wanting to say cheese and have me take his picture. Too funny!

Waiting for Spring

Stone just sits at the front window wanting to go out and play. If this bitter weather would ever let up, we would take him out and let him run off some of this energy! But in the meantime, he will have to settle for watching Barney and Elmo clips on you tube!
