Trick or Treat

Stone was a pirate this year and oh so cute! When he was around people he knew he would tell them the pirate went argh! Then when he was around people he was not so familiar with, he would tell them the pirate says hi! I think he enjoyed handing out candy more than recieving it though. Oh and the kids figured out the longer they stayed and talked to him, the more candy they received. Our house is going to be popular, I can tell!

Chicago part 2!

Our trip continued out to Schaumburg where we were able to have dinner with Cynthia. She came bearing gifts for Stone, she spoils him!!! We ate at the Weber grill and the food was fabulous, I highly recommend it if you are ever in the area. Stone was not in restaurant form though, he had to step away from the table a few times!

Chicago GTG

We got to meet up with my fabulous mommy friends this weekend up in Chicago. It was great to see them all and their adorable kids. The kids got along great as we went to see the feel and touch nature museum and Lincoln Park Zoo. Stone also got to see all the big boats out on Lake Michigan. I will add pictures when I get to our home computer, they are not on this one.

Stone was sitting on the stoop one morning as I was loading the truck. He looked so cute, I had to grab the camera and snap a couple pictures. He loves his hat and coat this year!

Happy 1st Birthday C!

It's cousin C's first birthday and the perfect day to play outside. We loaded up the wagon with our present and baby and headed over. Stone was wore out by the end of the party. So much to do, so little time....swingset, football, and bounce house not to mention CAKE!

That's my boy!

Stone really takes after his mommy. He loves to clean! Give this kid a broom, dust rag, vaccuum, or in this case a washrag and he will go to town. My wheels never looked cleaner!!!!

Pumpkin pickin

So Mike decided to "surprise" Stone and I with a family trip to a pumpkin patch and corn maze. While the thought was really sweet, the place he picked lacked a little something. He was all excited and proud that he found a new place while on his work route. We get there and it is some pumpkins on a trailer and a maze made out of hay bails. I was rolling! But hey, we got our pumpkins and some quality family time which means a lot these days.

Stone has become a huge fan, so we go to as many games as we can. We get to watch cousin Bailey cheer and Stone gets to cheer, "go red go!" But it is a late night, and by the time we walk home, he is usually crashed out!
