Jammin with PaPa!

We took Stone to the Apple and Pork festival to watch my dad's band play. He had a blast, I did not realize how much he loves music. Papa let him sit at his drums on stage, Stone was on Cloud 9!

Way to go Stone!

OK, let me start by saying that last week I bought a potty against my will. Mike had been bugging and bugging and to shut him up, I finally went and bought one. I told him that I was not going to make Stone go potty on it, because he is obviously not ready.

So this morning I was undressing him and let him sit on his potty while I ran his bath. All of a sudden I hear the music playing and his eyes are as big as can be! I could have fell over when I realized he went potty in the potty!

Now I have to go and eat my words with Mike, something I hate to do! But none the less, way to go Stone!!!

Mommy's excitement!

So I have been studying these money saving boards and clipping coupons diligently. It is really making this owning 2 houses situation a little easier. Well tonight was by far my most successful night of shopping yet.

I hit up Walgreens (the first photo) and spent 60, Target (the second photo) spent 20, and Meijer (the third photo) and spent another 20. Yes, I got all this stuff for $100!

Silly Stone

He has just developed the funniest personality and his face lights up with his smile. He really is learning when to flash it to, getting out of situations where mommy catches him doing something wrong!

Our new toy!

So after our terrible weekend, being so sick with a sinus infection and 103.4 fever, Mommy felt so bad for Mr. Stone. So after our pedi appointment on Tuesday we were shopping around, waiting for our prescription to be filled. Well I call Mike and inform him that I am buying Stone a toy since he has had such a rough weekend. The toy... a john deere riding tractor, with a pull behing cart. It is seriously the cutest thing I have ever seen and Stone looks so big on it. After 2 nights out back, he can steer the thing pretty good. With the exception of when he gets distracted from people walking by or better yet, dogs!
