Stone's had a playdate tonight with Elizabeth. We made chocolate chip cookies (slice and bake of course) and played in the playroom. They had so much fun except that Stone wanted to play with whatever E was playing with. E was very quiet with Mike and I, but chatted up a storm with Stone. It was so cute!

Mommy's baking again!

Let me tell you, I am on a roll! For those of you who really know me, know that this is nothing short of amazing. I had people rolling at my wedding shower because I had no idea what this kitchen stuff was, let alone what you did with it. Well, people, I am learning!
Stone and Mike are loving it! Tonight I tried boston cream cupcakes. Trust me, they were as tasty as they were pretty! I recieved rave reviews, and actually had fun making these.

Mr. Motocross!

Stone has always been obsessed with motorcycles, maybe it was from hearing the races while in my belly! He attended his first race at 4 weeks and was happy as a clam! Anyhow, his love for 2 wheels continues to grow as he does and it was apparent this weekend while checking out Uncle Blake's new bike! The really cool part is that this bike used to be a practice bike for motocrosser/xgames star Travis Pastrana! But how cute does he look sitting on this bike, do they make baby seats for the back of these????
Oh and Uncle Blake wanted everyone to see that the second picture shows that he alread knows where the throttle is. Oh Lord help me!!!!!
Father and Son

You’re standing in the doorway.
Your worday is all done.
He waits to see you everyday,
this boy that is your son.
He hopes you will go fishing.
He hopes you’ll shoot a gun.
He just wants to be with you,
this boy that is your son.
He is your spitting image.
To him you are “The One”.
He hopes to be just like you,
this boy that is your son.
You show him what a man is.
You teach him as you have fun.
You are admired as well as loved,
by this boy that is your son.
You’ve got a friend forever.
Until the world is done.
Then, still you will be holding
this man that is your son.

Just like his Mommy!!!!

Stone has always been a good sleeper, taking after mommy and daddy. However, he is really starting to take after Mommy, hating to wake up in the mornings. I will admit, I have never really been a morning person, especially when you wake me up. I have gotten better since having Stone, but still there is a limit! Everyday I have to wake Stone up to go to daycare and this is the reaction I will get! Now don't get me wrong, he still shows daddy's side too, once he eats breakfast he is a happy camper!

Oh and how can we forget the rides!

Here is the pictures of Stone enjoying the Giant Slide and the Choo Choo train. Oh and I added the picture of Stone crying becasue the ride was over. Hahahaha
It is so amazing to think back when my dad would take us to the fair every year. The one ride he would allow us to go on was the giant slide. We loved it! Who would have thought, I would be enjoying this with my little man years later!
State Fair time!

Daddy and Mommy took Stone on Saturday to the State Fair. He loved the food, people, rides, and the animals. The part he did not like was when the rides were over. Well, he made it all day without a nap and finally crashed on the way to Camden's birthday party.
Stone rode the giant slide, the train, pet the goats, ponies, horses, and pigs. He ate donuts, ice cream, corn dogs, french fries, and lemonade shake-ups. Bad mommy, I know!

The State Fair Parade

Gaga and Mommy took Stone to the State Fair parade. While he loved the french fries and strawberry shake-up, he was not to crazy about some of the people that were in the parade. OK, mommy will even admit some of them were pretty scary, especially the fat belly dancers! But once the motorcycles came, all was well in Stone's world!

Sick Day!

Stone has had quite the time with the flu bug this month! Well round two came and Stone got to hang out at home in his diaper. Mommy got tired of washing pukey clothes, and it is a lot easier to throw him in the tub. Desperate to keep him still, we found some Barney videos on the computer and Stone fell in love! This is huge coming from the child that hates the television, so I had to get pictures to document this.
