Mommy can Bake!!!!!!

Yes, I know it is quite a shock, but I have been really trying since getting this house with a bigger kitchen and a dishwasher. My mommy board has started this weekly recipe challenge and this week it was Pink Lemonade Cupcakes. Let me tell you these were yummy! Oh and it is the first cupcake I have made from SCRATCH!

My Favorite Little Man

Helping get the detergent. He has to get in the drawer to get the detergent out!

Mommy and Stone!

Just had to snap a shot of my favorite fingers and toes! Not very often that they are still enough to get a picture of anymore!

Looking so big!

Tonight was just a fun night for Stone and I. Who would have ever thought that a laundry night could be fun? But when you have a little helper that is just too cute for words, it changes the entire evening! He is just getting so big these days, and really looks big in his new dinasour pj's!

Ozark Vacation!

Uncle Gary and Aunt Sandi were nice enough to invite us to come down and stay during their Ozark vacation. Stone had so much fun playing with Brice, Claire, Elizabeth, and Caden. Mommy found out that Stone is quite the water bug. He jumped right in to the lake off the boat. Gaga and Papa were down there as well!

So far... Operation Bye-bye baba is a SUCCESS!!!

After the first night, we have not cried at all for a baba at naps and bedtime. He is still sleeping his normal 11.5 hour night and his usual 2.5-3 hour naps! I am soooo excited and proud of my baby, ummm I mean Big Boy! Daddy says bye bye diapers is next. Uh oh!!!

Operation Bye-Bye Baba, night 2!

Well, after the 35-40 minutes of complete screaming last night, he finally caved in and fell asleep. Oh and he slept all night! So tonight we did things a little different, bath, sippy, then put him to bed. Guess what.....NO CRYING, not even for a second! We will see what the night holds for us, it could be too good to be true!

Operation "bye bye baba" night one

Well, at our pedi visit yesterday, she recommended that we say goodbye to our night time bottle. She seemed to think that Stone's passive, easy going personality would make this a cake walk. Hahahaha, tonight was night one and after 35 minutes of screaming, not crying, he finally gave in a passed out. That was really hard on Mommy, not to mention Stone. Thank you OOF for talking me through this, and not giving in and handing over the baba.

Sprinkling fun!

So after Stone's bath last night, Daddy took him out to "check the lawn." I should have known that meant, playing in the water. Well, Mommy went out to see with her own eyes, and it was just too cute to not get pictures.

Happy 4th Everybody!

We did our annual trip to the car lot to have our cookout and watch the fireworks at the school. Stone was really good, but was pretty picky about who held him during the show. It was well past his bedtime, but he did amazing.

I don't think I am going to be an artist, Mommy!

So, I thought I would let Stone's creativity shine through this weekend and let him make some art for his playroom. One of my mommy board friends gave me this wonderful idea. Well, it was a no go to say the least. As soon as Stone's fingers touched the finger paints, he started gagging and dry heaving. Not even kidding, I had Mike and Blake there as witnesses. He did not stop freaking out until he was safe in the bath tub and clean.

Ok, ok, Hopefully things are getting back to normal.

I am soooo sorry for not keeping up with my blogging duties. We are becoming more and more settled in the house each day and things are slowly resuming back to normal. Now if we can just sell the old house! I promise, I am going to be more diligent in keeping up with Stone's daily activities from here on out. Trust me we will not be moving again in the near future. It is a pain in the butt, especially with an active 14 month old! I have more to update, I am just too tired to do it right now. Stone has been battling the flu since this past Saturday, and it continues on as I type. Yesterday my mom came down with it and today Mike has fallen victim. I am saying prayers by the minute that it skips me. Someone has got to be well enough to deal with this mess. So once stomachs settle, I will post a few more tidbits that have been happening in our neck of the woods!
