Happy New Year!!!!

Wow, what a year 2007 has been! I have the best little reminder from this year and am actually sad to say goodbye to 2007. I cannot believe that I will now be saying that my baby was born last year. Tonight is just for celebrating, but soon we will be starting the planning of Stone's 1st birthday.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Now that Stone has mastered crawling and pulling up, let the adventures begin. After eating breakfast this morning while Mommy was cloroxing the high chair, Stone decided to set out on an adventure (with pumpkin still on his face). He found the toilet paper and unrolled the entire thing, Lovely!

My Christmas Loot!

Stone is definately one spoiled little boy! You should have seen his stack of presents at Grandma and Grandpa Young's house. A big thank you to Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Blake & Aunt Abby. Our house now looks like the baby section of Toys R Us!

Thank you Santa!!!

Stone was very excited to wake up and see the toys that Santa left! He loved his leap frog learning table and ball popper. Stone does not quite get the concept of the walker yet. He also got a cool sippy cup, tooth brush, and remote in his stocking.

Cookies for Santa!

We bought a special plate for Stone to leave Santa some cookies on Christmas Eve. With all the rush rush on Monday, Mommy forgot to bake some cookies. So we had to leave out some iced sugar cookies from Meier. Santa probably liked them better than if mommy had made them anyhow (she is not exactly Martha Stewart)!

Mommy and Daddy did let Stone open a present on Christmas Eve. He got some really cool jammies and slippers and the book Counting Christmas. Once we got all ready for bed, Daddy read Stone his book.

Christmas with the Hill's (a little early)

So we decided to celebrate Christmas a little early with my mom's side of the family. With everyone starting to have families of their own, it is much easier to celebrate the weekend before. Plus it gave Stone some practice at opening gifts! Stone got a really cool learning playground and 2 outfits from Aunt Sandi.

Wedding weekend part II...

Well, we got hit by an ice storm today and it affected the wedding. One of the groomsman got into a wreck on the way to the church, but thankfully he is alright and will get a new truck! Then we found out a guest got into another wreck on the way there and had to be taken to the hospital. Blake ripped his pants by falling on the ice at home before the ceremony, Mike fell after the ceremony hurting his bad knee, oh and another guest fell at the end of the reception and cut open his chin. Oh the joys of a December wedding!!!!

Stone was an absolute angel! He did not make a peep the entire ceremony and made it until 11:30 pm at the reception with only a 15 minute nap all day. He looked so darn handsome in his tux, but was not too fond of the tie. That came off as soon as he was done with pictures. Congrats to Blake and Abby, hope they enjoy their honeymoon in Mexico!

Wedding weekend!

Uncle Blake and Aunt Abby are getting married tomorrow! Tonight is the rehersal dinner and Stone made out like a bandit! He got 2 outfits and a toy. He did so good at the rehersal, never made a peep and just played with Allie the entire time. Then at the reheralal dinner he ate some mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. Yummy!
I have included some pics of his adorable suit! Aunt Lindsey got him this back at Easter time and it finally fits!

Stone's 1st Haircut

Well, I finally broke down and got Stone's haircut today. I figured Uncle Blake's ringbearer should not look like he belongs in a dress! We took him to BJ's Grand Salon and Spa and Alyssa worked wonders. Stone did so good and after checking her out and making sure she was alright, he let her cut away. He was very serious even when he was checking out the end results. Then we came home and decorated the tree!
