We have found our tongue!!!

Stone has figured out how to stick out his tongue today. He thinks it is really funny to copy Dad! It is so cute, his little tongue sticking out. Now we are going to have to start teaching him manners, it is not polite to stick his tongue out at people!

LET'S EAT!!!

We were given the ok to try cereal at our appointment yesterday. So Mommy made a batch of rice cereal up and gave it a try. Stone did not really understand the concept of swallowing. He knew to open his mouth when the spoon came, but then it would come right back out. He did quickly learn that it is a lot of fun to spit it back out. Finally by the end he was actually swallowing a little bit. Oh well, 5:00 pm tonight we will try try again!

Happy 4 month birthday Stone!

Sorry to say that turning 4 months means going to the dr and getting SHOTS!!!! 4 to be exact. Daddy got to hold him down for this round. I think he was more traumatized than Stone was. He was a little baby hog last night. Ha Ha!!! Well his stats were good, he weighs 16 lbs 12 oz (75%), 26.5 inches (90%), but still has a small head (25%). We were given the green light to start solids. Dr said he could start green veggies in a couple of days, but Mommy is doing a month of rice and oats and then starting veggies. We will see.

Mommy got a new camera!

I am officially addicted to taking pictures of Stone. I think he is starting to get used to it. Today I went to Best Buy and finally bought a new digital camera. I got a Sony Cybershot and it is really nice! It is not the digital SLR that I wanted (too expensive) so I guess that will have to go on my Christmas List (hint hint). This is a good camera to through in the diaper bag and have with me all the time!

Mommy went Shopping!!!

Well, last Saturday Mike took Stone and I down to St. Louis shopping. It was my first shopping trip since Stone arrived and I went crazy! I hit Neimans, Janie & Jack, Baby Talbots, Baby Gap. It is funny how I used to frequent totally different stores, but now I only want to shop for him. Like he needs it!

Stone has a new hobby!

He loves motocross and motorcycles. We have actually been able to sit him in front of the t.v. andlet him watch motocross on t.v. Then, last night we were down at Grandma and Grandpa's and Uncle Blake sat him on his motorcycle. It was instant love! Of course, Mommy had to get pictures!

Happy 4th!!!!

Well, Stone's 1st 4th of July was good. After morning thunderstorms, it was clear skies all evening. We went to our towns firework show and Stone loved it. He would get all excited and laugh and throw his hands all around. It was really cute. The noises did not even bother him!!!!
